Job Description

Our client, an upscale retirement community located in Florida, is seeking a dining general manager to support an expanded dining operation.  Dining venues include 5 IL restaurants, a coffee kiosk, assisted living, and skilled nursing.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure an exceptional dining experience for all members of our community: residents, family members, associates, and guests.
  • Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities, including hands on culinary support
  • Oversee guest services and resolve issues
  • Ensure a high quality of ingredients and food preparation
  • Train and manage kitchen personnel
  • Create and adjust staff schedules to meet dining venue needs
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Culinary, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field.
  • A minimum of five years dining management experience
  • Knowledge of State and Federal Regulations, infection control standards, and HACCP.
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Demonstrated commitment to service delivery
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Technology savvy
  • Strong attention to detail
